Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh mushrooms (button or cremini), cleaned and halved
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour if needed)
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Wash and pat mushrooms completely dry.
- Prepare 3 bowls:
- Bowl 1: flour
- Bowl 2: beaten eggs
- Bowl 3: breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper mixed.
- Coat each mushroom in flour, dip in egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry mushrooms in small batches until golden brown and crispy (3–4 minutes).
- Drain on paper towels.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
