Here’s the recipe for Golden Crispy Potato Cakes
- 4 medium potatoes (about 2 lbs), peeled and boiled
- 1 small onion, finely grated (optional)
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour (or cornstarch for gluten-free)
- 2 tbsp grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or parmesan – optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp oil or butter for frying
